Addis Ababa September 9/2020(ENA)  Heavy rainfall above 200 mm is predicted in components of Ethiopia, South Sudan and Kenya within the coming eight days, in accordance with Inter-governmental Authority on Improvement (IGAD). 

The press launch issued by IGAD Local weather Prediction and Purposes Middle at this time said that  reasonable rainfall from 50-200 mm can also be anticipated from September 22-29 in southern components of Sudan, a lot of South Sudan, western and central Ethiopia, components of north-eastern Somalia, a lot of Uganda, central and western Kenya, and most components of Rwanda and Burundi.

It additional mentioned gentle rainfall lower than 50 mm is forecasted in central components of Sudan, western Eritrea; components of northern, southern and japanese Ethiopia; coastal components of Djibouti, components of south-eastern South Sudan, northern and Southern Somalia, north-western and south-eastern Kenya, few areas of north-eastern and western Uganda, and components of north-western and japanese coast of Tanzania.

Dry situations are anticipated in components of western, southern and central Tanzania; northern and north-eastern Kenya, central Somalia, components of south-eastern and north-eastern Ethiopia, japanese components of Eritrea, Djibouti, and northern Sudan, was  indicated.
